When you share a project, or add a reference to one or more shared projects the highlights and notes behaviour is as follows:
- The members of all shared projects the references were added to will see all highlights and notes made by you (ie the person who added the reference to the shared project).
- However, they won't see highlights and notes made by members of other shared projects the reference has been added to unless the user is also a member of the other shared project(s).
