How do I highlight and annotate a PDF file?

To highlight and annotate a PDF file, please head to Lean Library Workspace and open the PDF with our PDF viewer. There are two scenarios to do this:

When a PDF file is available directly on the website 

1. Bookmark the article with Lean Library extension
   
2. Click View in Workspace
   
3. This will open up a page on Lean Library Workspace. You should see the "Open PDF" option. Click it and this will open up Lean Library Workspace PDF viewer.
   
4. Now you can start to highlight and annotate 
   

When you have an offline PDF file

1. Go to Lean Library Workspace
2. Click on the Import Reference option
   
3. Select the method to upload your PDF file
   
4. Once the PDF file has been uploaded, it will be shown in your References list. You will then see an option to Open PDF with Lean Library Workspace viewer, where you can start highlight and annotate.
