Your Lean Library Workspace account is personal to you, and separate from the subscription. You register an account, and then the subscription is applied to your account when you meet the criteria.
Institutional access is granted via Institutional SSO, or IP verification. IP verification works in one of 2 ways:
- By logging in to Workspace whilst connected to the institution’s network on campus, or
- Remotely via an institutional proxy/VPN, or Single Sign-On (SSO). If you're unsure if these are supported at your institution, please contact your librarian for more information.
Institutional access comes with a 120 day roaming period, which means you keep full access to Workspace from any internet connection for 120 days, and then you’ll need to log in via your institution using IP verification again to reset the counter.
