There are two ways you can use Lean Library to save references:
- Get Citation - a simple way to copy a reference
- Lean Library Workspace - a full-suite reference management tool
Please note: these features are subject to the set up by your library. If you have any question, please reach out to your librarian for assistance.
Get Citiation
This is a basic, simple option to copy citation. If this option has been enabled by your library, when you see a pop-up regarding either an article or eBook, you will see a "Get Citation" button comes along with it.
Click it, and you will see a dropdown of citation style. You can then copy the citation style, and that's done!
Lean Library Workspace
Lean Library Workspace is a full-suite reference management tool. If your library has enabled it, you will see this icon in the extension (like below).
If you can't see this logo, but still would like to use the functionality, please add Lean Library Open as your secondary institute.
- To start, you will need to create an account or log in at Lean Library Workspace website
- Then, refresh your browser to ensure that the extension has synced with your Workspace account
- You are set! You can now start saving references into your account
- Don't forget to use the Word add-in or Google Docs Add-on when you are citing references
